Since our beginning, volunteers have played a significant role in our history by providing their time to help those in need; allowing us to keep our doors open each day. Here are some ways you can get involved. HABcore needs both individual and group volunteers. For individuals, businesses or volunteer groups, there's always an opportunity to get involved, whether for a one-time event or an on-going program. YOU can serve as a HABcore adviser or volunteer. Talents, energy and services of a diverse nature are urgently needed and gratefully appreciated.

What our volunteers do:
- Meals: prepare and help serve meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)
- Housekeeping: basic spring cleaning (attics, basements, pantries)
- Donations: pick up and deliver donated items
- Skill Teaching: Financial literacy, resume preparation, computers
- Represent HABcore in events: parades, walkathons, and other events
- Host a drive: household goods, toiletries, gift cards, holiday giving trees
- Game nights or other recreational activities - on site or drive to local sites
- Yard work: rake leaves, power wash, clean gutters, tend to vegetable gardens
