Become a Volunteer
Volunteers have played a significant role throughout our history by providing their time and talents to help those in need and allowing us to keep our doors open each day. HABcore needs both individual and group volunteers for a one-time team building event, a day of community service or as part of an ongoing program. - Office: Administrative support, data entry, scanning files
- Meals: prepare and help serve meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)
- Housekeeping: basic spring cleaning (attics, basements, pantries)
- Donations: deliver donated items
- Represent HABcore in events: parades, walkathons and other events
- Host a drive: household goods, toiletries, gift cards or holiday giving trees
- Game nights or other recreational activities: on-site or drive to local sites
- Gardening and yard work: rake leaves, power wash, clean gutters, tend to vegetable gardens, plant flowers
