HABcore’s response to COVID-19

A message from Steve Heisman, Executive Director

As the news reports about the COVID-19 virus shift hourly, we want to assure all of our HABcore supporters that we (the HABcore staff and Board) have contingency planning in place to provide for the welfare of the previously homeless population who now call HABcore home

First and foremost, all needs of HABcore residents will continue to be addressed. They came to HABcore in search of safe and permanent housing, and they will continue to have it through national emergencies of any sort. As always, the health and safety of our residents is a top priority. We will continue to provide for all our residents in the most caring way and assure them we stand by our mission.

When people struggle in life, or find themselves in a time of need, it's their community that helps them back on their feet, builds them up from the inside out, and helps them flourish. We stand together as a strong community, standing side-by-side with our hearts open to help those in need.

HABcore is proud to provide a permanent home and personalized support services to hundreds of people and families with children in 33 towns of Monmouth and Ocean counties and throughout the Jersey Shore.

Here at HABcore, we run two boarding houses serving over 50 individuals, many of whom have special needs. We also place and supervise homeless families in apartments around Monmouth and Ocean counties. At this, time, more than ever, we can use your help.
